| Disney sericels were release for the first time in 1985 when the Circle Fine Art Cooperation of Chicago published a set of 12 sericels in conjunction with American Express. These sericels have large gold seals and were published in editions of 9500 each. Gallery Lainzberg began offering these editions in 1986 and they are still sought by collectors all over the world. In 1990, Disney began publishing their own sericels. These have a small silver seal. Disney continues to produce fine art sericels.
