This small collection of Disney
cels have been consigned to me
by the family of recently
deceased 1930s Hollywood
starlet, Shirley Chambers. She
was the first “Dumb Blond”
character and had a film career
from 1932 into television in the
1960s. She was given a tour of
the Disney studio in 1937 and
was  given a collection of
animation cels. These three are
part of the collection.

Her family just found them this
fall as they were going through
her home in Los Angeles. They
have been wonderfully preserved
and are an early look at the inking
and paint style of Disney art.

Please call me and let me know
what you think. I wanted have a
chance at these since they are
among the earliest color cels we
have seen and are in amazing
condition.
Here is a scene with Donald fighting with Harpo Marx on the back of an Ostrich
during a wild polo game. This is one of the few Disney films that used Hollywood
celebrities of the day. It will be $2950.00 framed. "Mickey's Polo Team" 1936.
This is a two cel set up of Donald and the ornery Donkey that he rides in the polo
game. Large images and Donald still has his white sailor hat in this early film!
$1895.00 framed. "Mickey's Polo Team" 1936.
This is an original hand painted production cel of the the orphan from the classic
1936 Mickey cartoon, "Orphan's Picnic. This rare pose of a Mickey nephew
image is among the earlisest we have ever seen. Only $1195.00 framed.
